INDIANAPOLIS — May 10, 2023 — PANBlast has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list, which highlights employers across the country setting new standards for what it means to have a great company culture. The list results from a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture, whether in a physical or a virtual facility.

After collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 591 honorees across 32 industries for this year’s Best Workplaces list. Each nominated company participated in an employee survey conducted by Quantum Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, employee growth opportunities and overall company culture. Each organization’s benefits were also audited to determine the overall score and ranking.

“We founded PANBlast as a people-first organization and, almost 20 years later, I’m proud to say that we continue to make every decision with our people as the core focus,” said Mendy Werne, PANBlast CEO. “Not only do we strive to be a transparent and empathetic employer, but also a place where our people can bring their whole selves to work. We are honored to be listed among other inspiring organizations that are prioritizing a workplace culture where employees feel supported and fulfilled.”

PANBlast was one of four Indiana companies on this year’s Best Workplaces list alongside Boardable, OneCause and ShipSigma.

“We understand that our people are humans with their own lives, responsibilities and emotions in and outside the workplace,” said Erica Kehr, PANBlast VP of People Operations. “In the last year alone, we’ve revised many of our policies and improved benefits to complement this. We overhauled our bereavement, pregnancy loss and parental bonding policies, migrated to flex PTO and now offer ‘Can’t Do It’ days, as we embrace and emphasize an empathetic, modern approach to supporting our employees so they can live their best professional and personal lives.”

“Being named to Best Workplaces is an honor that only a small fraction of companies have been able to claim,” said Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “Proving to the world that you’re a magnet for talent and have a culture that keeps teams engaged, productive, and proud to come to work is a truly remarkable achievement.”
